We are looking to fill the position of QA Group Lead.

Overview of the Role:
As a member of the ViVOtech technical team, the QA Group Lead role directly impacts the company’s product delivery of enterprise software products. The QA Group Lead has responsibility for developing and running the QA functions for the SW development group.

Components of the role include:

• Hire, train, and manage a 3-4 person QA group
• Architect and implement the infrastructure for the QA function
• Develop QA automation tools to run regression tests
• Develop tools to identify performance issues
• Develop and maintain tools and database that track SW defects
• Provide interface between the QA function and the SW development team

Requirements and Selection Criteria:
Required experience:

• 8+ years experience
• Hands-on senior contributor to the QA function
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-threaded architectures and database integration
• Experience with performance engineering, especially as it relates to distributed transactions
• Experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate development environments
• Experience with QA automation and modern production-level testing tools (such as Silk, QTP, and Selenium)
• Experience with release management procedures
• Experience testing in an environment with overlapping software release cycles
• Experience creating a small QA team and infrastructure
• Proven ability to recruit and motivate small but effective QA teams

Education:
BS/MS Computer Science
