We are looking to fill the position of Software Engineer.

Job duties: 

Responsible for the design and development of the NFC based mobile application and J2EE server side application (ViVOWallet & ViVONFC). Coordinate with the architects, product management and development teams to design and develop the product as per the specification from customers.

• Design, develop, and enhance applications to meet customers’ requirements.
• Working under the architect and technical lead on developing the mobile application UI for the ViVOWallet
• Programming (J2ME (Blackberry) & Android, Java Card & J2EE) for the enhancement of the existing features to satisfy customer’s requirement.
• Design and enhance the personalization process for the payment cards on mobile (For example, VISA, Master Card and American Express, etc.)
• Create the final build and release of the ViVOWallet for the Blackberry, Nokia, Android and Iphone for the Customer.
• Testing and deployment of the ViVOWallet on the Server and Mobile Phones.
• Manage the process time effectively to deliver the product on time to Customer.
• Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the Application Server (Jboss, Apache Tomcat & WebSphere).
• Tuning of the application server such as Jboss, Apache Tomcat & IBM WebSphere for the security.
• Deployment of the application on both Windows based and UNIX (Solaris & Red Hat Enterprise Linux) based environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or software engineering, and 6 months of work experience in the job offered or as software engineer required.  The required experience may be acquired prior to obtaining Master’s degree.
