The Order Administration Manager is responsible for the Sales Administration, Order Fulfillment/Distribution and RMA functions. This position will manage the information flow of products to customers with a primary goal of delighting customers. The OA Manager will oversee the information flow and product movement required to achieve the desired results in the areas of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory. The OA Manager will identify and drive both materials and information flow improvements through continuous review and analysis of processes and procedures with a keen eye on information automation. The position will identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve processes and results in the areas of demand forecasting, supply formulation, sales order processing, fulfillment, product distribution and product returns, establishing metrics, measuring/reporting performance, and actively partnering with appropriate individuals both internally and externally to effect change. The position will also support corporate and departmental inventory management initiatives and provide support for monthly and quarterly close and physical inventory processes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall Sales Order Administration, Fulfillment, Distribution and RMA functions
- Identify and develop opportunities to create a world-class Sales Order, Fulfillment and RMA processes
- Liaison between Operations, Sales and Finance
- Develop, track and report on key metrics, identifying trends and measuring performance to department and corporate goals
- Analyze existing distribution processes and material and information flows to drive improvements that align with business strategies
Qualifications:
- CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) experience required
- ERP (i.e. Great Plains) and PDM (i.e. Agile) experience preferred
- Knowledge of export documentation and requirements desirable
Skills/ Experiences:
- Minimum 8-10 years experience
- Customer service experience and demonstrated skills in customer communication and relationship management is essential
- In-depth experience and knowledge of managing configurable products
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelors Degree required
