Charles A. Lynch is current chairman of Market Value Partners Company, a management, mentor and advisor resource for existing and emerging businesses. Mr. Lynch has been chairman and/or chief executive officer of a number of major corporations during his career.

Currently, Mr. Lynch is a director of Fresh Choice Inc. and of Spectrum Organic Products Inc. He is also an advisor for the Food Platform of The Shansby Group, an advisor and/or board member of a number of Internet start-up companies, chairman of the board of advisors to Clark/Bardes Consulting and an advisor to Bain and Company and Shari's Management Corp. Mr. Lynch is the former chairman and CEO of Saga Corp. He has been a director of more than 20 major corporations such as Pacific Life Insurance Company, SRI International, Southern Pacific Transportation Company, KaiserTech, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp., Consolidated Freightways, Industrial Indemnity, Crocker National Corp. and Crocker National Bank, John Blair & Company, Syntex Corp., Mid-Peninsula Bank, Hexcel Corp., Nordstrom, Inc., DHL Airways, Inc., W. R. Grace & Co. and Greyhound Lines Inc.

Mr. Lynch is a director of The Bay Area Council. He is also former chairman of The California Business Roundtable, as well as the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and is a former member of the board of directors and chairman of the United Way of the Bay Area.

Mr. Lynch holds a degree in industrial administration from Yale University and an honorary doctor of laws from Golden Gate University.
