Greg McNeil – Senior Vice President of Engineering

Greg McNeil is the Vice President of Engineering of ViVOtech, Inc. Mr. McNeil has many years of experience in developing, managing, and leading various hardware and software product technology teams with a proven record of attracting, retaining, and leading top engineering talent. McNeil began his product management career at Apple Computer with roles in both manufacturing and product development. Following Apple, he moved on to a string of industry-changing start-up ventures including WebTV Networks and Cobalt Networks. Following the acquisition of Cobalt Networks by Sun Microsystems, McNeil was responsible for leading a engineering organization responsible for a successful line of servers and workstations for Sun. In 2004, McNeil founded a consumer electronic media player company, VVM Systems and drove numerous strategic initiatives at both Palm and Cadence Design Systems. In addition to both start-up and corporate experiences, McNeil’s academic background includes graduate degrees in Engineering and Business from Stanford University and Santa Clara University, respectively. Prior to his renowned career in Silicon Valley, McNeil spent nearly a decade as a professional cyclist, competing internationally as part of the US National Cycling Team, representing the US in two Cycling World Championships, and holds one world record.
