Releases Industry’s First Integrated Platform For NFC-enabled
mobile phones

ViVOnfc Suite 2.0 provides production ready payment solution for
Over-The-Air (OTA) provisioning of multiple cards and multiple applications

the leading supplier of contactless payments solutions, has introduced
ViVOnfc Suite 2.0, the first production ready and field tested platform
for over-the-air (OTA) provisioning of NFC enabled mobile phones.
For the first time, card issuers, service providers and retailers
will be able to easily provision payment, gift and loyalty cards,
tickets, coupons and promotions into their customers’ mobile
phones. In addition to offering the industry’s first deployment
to support multiple applications, the solution enables provisioning
and management of multiple cards from multiple issuers into a single
unified mobile wallet.
ViVOnfc
Suite 2.0’s unique dual server architecture insures that issuers
will maintain security of their card data and leverage the widest
possible reach over the mobile carrier network. Card issuers are
able to extend their brand image and online services onto their
customers’ mobile devices and simultaneously mobile carriers
are able to deploy highly scalable and reliable infrastructure to
support payment, promotion, and ticketing applications for their
subscriber base. With ViVOtech’s OTA technology, merchants
are able to drive personalized and localized marketing campaigns
to gaining strong customer loyalty and increased revenues. Additionally,
retailers will also be able to offer various service discovery applications
like smart posters, product information tags, and offer tags for
their customers.

The
patent-pending ViVOnfc Suite 2.0 is comprised of the ViVOplatform
Issuer ServerTM, ViVOplatform Control ServerTM and ViVOwallet®
mobile phone application.
- ViVOplatform
Issuer Server (VpIS) – The VpIS server resides onsite at
the issuer’s premises providing secure Softcard provisioning
services for mobile payment devices. This allows the issuer to
maintain full possession and control of their softcard data that
they wish to issue to their customers mobile devices.

ViVOplatform Control Server (VpCS) – The VpCS server resides
at the mobile operator premises providing administrative services
to support the secure element on a mobile payment device. As such,
the VpCS provides for a central secure management point for control
of all softcard provisioning to a mobile device. The pre-personalization
and provisioning of payment applets to the mobile device, as well
as the device authentication and softcard provisioning are controlled
and managed by the VpCS.

ViVOwallet® – The ViVOwallet application runs on NFC
mobile phones enabling multiple payment-related applications,
managing secure data, to enable secure contactless payment transactions.
The ViVOwallet provides the interface for provisioning softcard
data to the mobile device as well as the user interface to transmis
payment card or coupon information directly to POS terminals equipped
with a contactless reader.
ViVOnfc Suite 2.0 products are available today, and are being deployed
