adds Wireless Service Veteran Garry Welch to company's Advisory Board of Industry Experts
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA.
- Garry Welch, CEO of wireless service provider Path Broadband and a longtime veteran
of the telecommunications and software industries, has joined the advisory board of
ViVOtech, Inc., headquartered here.
ViVOtech is a leading
infrastructure technology provider developing mobile electronic payment solutions
that are compatible with today's merchant legacy systems. The company has an advisory
board of industry experts from several fortune 500 companies as First Data Corp.,
Mervyn's (Target Corporation) and Intuit Inc.
Welch has had broad
experience in the wireless, Internet and software industries, with more than 20 years
at AT&T (NYSE:T), Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU), and McCaw Cellular.

since served as CEO of WireCutter, a wireless short message service company; EVP of
Capital Stream, an ASP serving the financial services industry; and SVP for business
development and field operations at CMGi, a streaming media operating company.
He began his career with General Electric and is a graduate of GE's Manufacturing
Management Program.
