Santa Clara, Calif. (May 13, 2003) - ViVOtech™, a provider of contactless payment solutions, announced today that it has received certification for ViVOpay™ with Global Payments Inc. (NYSE:GPN), a leading provider of electronic payment card and check processing solutions. ViVOpay is a RF payment terminal developed for use with 30 million existing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

ViVOpay now enables Global Payments and its ISOs to offer merchants an easy and cost-efficient upgrade of their current POS terminals to accept payment from contactless (RF) cards. ViVOpay uses a patent-pending, plug-and-play Dynamic Strip™ technology to simply and cost-efficiently upgrade a merchant's current magnetic-stripe POS to accept various contactless payment devices, including radio frequency (RF) payment cards and key fobs, as well as infrared (IrDA) enabled cell phones and PDAs.
